We have to admit that a well organized video library is not something that can be found on our hard drives, which is why there are various file managers out there. MotionBox is a particularly useful tool for keeping track of videos, even if they are scattered all over the hard drive. It lets you sort everything in playlists and the best part is that it lets you organize online videos as well, without downloading anything.

MotionBox works on all popular Windows platforms and you can have it up and running in no time. It doesn't have any special requirements and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources. The software is offered free of charge, without any hidden fees or restrictions.

The user interface consists of a video player and you can create playlists on the left side and in the lower region, under the player. The software lets you create folders and sub-folders, in which you can add your videos, by simply dragging and dropping them. You can double click videos to play them and you can also play multiple videos on separate tabs.

Besides browsing through your local videos, it is also possible to browse for videos directly on YouTube, Vimeo and other networks. Just like on a web browser, you can search for your favorite web videos and play them on the software's interface. What's more, you can add the videos to your playlists, without downloading them.

Although you may need to spend some time to get used to the interface's layout and how to properly organize your playlists, you will find the software's controls quite comfortable. Also, the interface's smooth sliding animations are quite pleasing to the eye.

Keeping track of your favorite videos can't get any easier and more comfortable when using MotionBox.

Pros

You can organize your videos in playlists, regardless of where they are on the hard drive. The same can be done with web videos, without downloading anything.

Cons

The interface's layout may be a bit confusing at first.
